Lindsey had her surgery this morning and everything went really well. Zoey sat in a chair with me all morning and we watched John Carpenter’s The Thing. Once Lindsey was awake, she made me change the channel to some lame makeover show. I guess she did just birth a child and have surgery, so I’ll let her this time.

We had some friends stop by and the day went by great. Zoey is really sleepy and spent a majority of the day doing just that.

I had to work in the afternoon, but then went back to the hospital. Grandma and Hadley brought us some dinner and we ate until Hadley was just too excited to stick around any more. Grandma took her home and gave her a bath. Later I came home and attempted to put Hadley down for bed. After two hours of her getting up with random questions, excuses and other manipulation attempts, she finally passed out and so did I.
