Hadley started off the morning great. We all got showered and dressed and went on a walk in the balmy weather to visit Daddy at work. After stopping for a short while to say hello, we headed back home and started making lunch. Eric came home to eat lunch and spend some time with the family before heading off to another hectic afternoon at the office.

Hadley decided she didn’t need a nap and told me repeatedly “no, no nap!” An hour later, I opened her door to find that she was in fact not sleeping, but playing with her kitchen. (and no, she didn’t even bother making her mom a snack.)

Shortly after, Hadley came out to play with grandma. They played play-doh and then I turned in to take a nap. (Someone in the house might as well get a little sleep.) While I napped the weather warmed up and Hadley got to go outside to play. She even got to go to the park.

Meanwhile, Zoey took her first trip out to Starbucks and Walmart. She was an angel and made shopping easy!

Despite a sleepless day, Hadley had a pretty good night.
