Goodbye Nana
April 16th, 2008
Lindsey took the girls to Lincoln today to drop Nana off at the airport.
Everything was going good until Hadley was told to say goodbye. Hadley responded by having a complete mental breakdown. She definitely enjoyed the time she had this week, and by time, I mean constant one-on-one attention. It really was great having Nancy staying with us. She was an awesome help and it was nice to be able to go to work and know that someone was going to be at home helping Lindsey.
I got home from work and was completely exhausted. Hadley of course immediately asked me to take her to the park. After taking a quick break, we went outside with her trike and tried to work on pedaling. She’s been doing awesome inside pedaling around here and there, but once we were outside, she just wanted to sit on her trike and push it with her feet. Oh, well. As long as she’s having fun, I don’t care.
Zoey had a good afternoon. She played outside with Lindsey and Hadley and enjoyed a walk around town. She seems to be getting along ok, but still has some problems spitting up.
She went down with only a few setbacks tonight. She needed her baby, then her “stars” went out, but after threatening the stars, she finally passed out. Zoey, on the other hand, decided that she didn’t want to sleep. After cuddling with Lindsey for awhile, she finally fell asleep and now it’s time for us to try and get some Z’s before either of the kids decide its time to get up.
