I’m pretty sure we are going to wear this sprinkler out.

It was another hot day and so I convinced Hadley that instead of going to the park, what she really wanted to do was play in the sprinkler. She finally agreed and we headed out.

After playing in the water for awhile, she decided that she would much rather just turn the water on and off. This wasn’t a big deal until Lindsey brought Zoey out to sit in a lawn chair and watch. Hadley turned the faucet on full blast and covered Linds and Zoey with ice cold water. It was funny, though.

Lindsey wanted to get some gardening done, so I took Zoey and watched Hadley and Mommy work pulling weeds in the garden together. I love how Hadley wants to do everything that Lindsey does. She’s a great helper, even though she doesn’t pay attention and steps on the plants all the time.

Suddenly a rush hit, with Lloyd, Emma, Chad, John and Gerry all stopping by at the same time. Lindsey took Zoey inside to eat and the rest of us stayed out and enjoyed the weather and playing catch. Hadley and Emma rolled around in the grass and laughed a lot. It’ll be too bad when Emma moves away, Hadley really enjoys playing with her and I’m sure with miss her a lot.
