The past week has been rough to say the least. The girls are not sleeping anymore (or at least when they should be.) Hadley has not taken a nap for a while, unless she happens to fall asleep late afternoon while on the couch. Zoey is not sleeping at night unless it is in her bouncy seat, and even then, she wakes up often. I have still put Hadley down for a nap daily, and she usually plays in her room quietly for an hour or so. I am really not ready for her to give up napping all together.

We did have a good weekend, however, despite the lack of sleep. There was a parade in town on Saturday so we went to that with friends. Papa was here to help judge the photography contest, so he got to spend some time with the girls too. He also brought a new play structure with a slide for Hadley. It also has a steering wheel, so she loves that.

The girls did great during church on Sunday, and Hadley made it all the way through. She did get up to go to the bathroom, but that is to be expected.

This morning we woke up and it was cold and rainy out, so we opted to stay inside and watch a movie. We also cleaned up Hadley’s room, which is becoming quite a chore, and found a lot of lost toys. I am hoping we will save enough money soon to finish our basement, and then the girls can have a play room.

Zoey fell asleep sitting with Eric this afternoon, and woke up soon after. Hadley went straight into her room and started to play, so who knows what this afternoon will look like. I am praying I have enough patience to deal with it all.
