Well, this month passed by, and I am not sure where it went. We have been busy with one thing or another and it seems like we are just waiting for that day of relaxation. I have a feeling we might be waiting for a while.

The girls have been sick off and on this month and Zoey Belle seems to be hit especially hard. She did experience her first very high fever and a cold that left her with residual infections and illnesses. There is some super bug going around here, and it has passed through our house a couple of times.

We are finally enjoying nice weather. Eric and I have a list a mile long of projects that we are going to get done, and we start this weekend! It has been cold and rainy and just plain yucky outside, so we are really excited about summer approaching.

Lately we have been helping watch the Schwarz kids twice a week in the evenings and the kids have really loved playing together. We have also been going to support Dawson as he plays soccer. It is hysterical watching 4 year olds play soccer, and Hadley and Zoey Belle love to go too.

Eric will be starting softball soon, so the girls and I will add that on our summer agendas.
We are still dealing with Zoey’s allergies, and it is getting a bit easier. She is still allergic to dairy and soy, so we have steered clear of those ingredients. I started to order food from a food co-op and it has made it much easier to find her foods that she can enjoy and foods that I can cook for the whole family. It has been much easier than trying to sift through ingredients on all the food labels while toting two little girls in an over flowing cart. Not that I had struggled with that or anything.

Zoey does seem to love bananas the best and will forgo chewing them in order to get them to her belly faster. It is kind of funny, because Hadley does not like bananas.

In other news, Eric’s got an awesome award for his work on the York News Times website. His website is the best newspaper website in the state of Nebraska. (This is an AP award, so it is a fairly big deal.) He continues to work really hard and it is definitely paying off.
